Zoho, a leading software company, has inaugurated its Nairobi office, equipped with a state-of-the-art training center. The training facility serves both Zoho’s associates and clients, offering customer-focused support from a local team.
In a move to strengthen its presence in the region, Zoho has also announced a strategic partnership with the Institute for Small Business Initiatives (ISBI), a division of Strathmore Business School (SBS).
During the office launch event, Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head – Kenya, Zoho Corp, emphasized that the local office will enhance the company’s management capabilities and enable them to cater specifically to the unique needs of large organizations.
Zoho One, Zoho’s flagship product, leads the market in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, followed by Zoho Books and Zoho CRM. In Kenya, Zoho One is the top-selling solution, with Zoho WorkPlace and Zoho CRM following closely behind.
It is noteworthy that Kenya represents the second fastest-growing market for Zoho in Africa, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving requirements of mid-market and enterprise customers in this region.
Zoho’s product portfolio covers a wide range of business categories, including sales and marketing, customer service, email and collaboration, business intelligence, finance, human resources, and customized solutions.
The company serves diverse industries, counting real estate businesses like VAAL and Optiven, insurance companies such as ICEA Lion and APA, and hospitality enterprises like Hotel Online and PTG Travel among its esteemed clients.
Through its collaboration with the Institute for Small Business Initiatives (ISBI), Zoho aims to provide digital tools that empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with enterprise-grade technology.
Having successfully trained over 1000 SMEs to achieve profitability and professionalism, ISBI recognizes the significant gap presented by manual record keeping. The partnership with Zoho will greatly benefit all SMEs associated with ISBI, granting them access to Zoho One, along with additional technical support and training.
