RingCentral, Inc., a leader in AI-driven cloud business communications, has announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Vodafone Business. This enhanced collaboration will introduce Vodafone Business Contact Center with RingCentral, powered by RingCX, expanding Vodafone’s communications offerings globally.
New Contact Center Solutions
The partnership will integrate Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) with Vodafone’s existing Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform, Vodafone Business UC with RingCentral. This integration will enable Vodafone Business to offer multinational customers a comprehensive solution for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The new service will simplify the establishment and operation of contact centers by equipping agents with AI tools such as call summaries, transcripts, automated scorecards, conversational insights, and coaching.
Global Rollout Plans
Vodafone Business Contact Center with RingCentral will initially launch in the UK and Germany later this year, with plans to expand to 30 markets by early 2025. The service will provide key data insights and support voice and over 20 digital channels, including web, messaging, and popular social media platforms.
Current and Future Offerings
Vodafone Business UC with RingCentral is already available in 20 markets across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. This platform consolidates messaging, video meetings, fax, file sharing, and virtual phone systems into a single user interface accessible from any internet-enabled device. It supports hybrid working models, allowing employees to access consistent services regardless of location.
Commitment to Innovation and Efficiency
Homayoun Razavi, EVP and Chief Business Development Officer at RingCentral, emphasized the innovation driven by the partnership. The addition of Vodafone Business Contact Center with RingCentral aims to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement by providing AI-driven tools for optimized communication workflows.
Expansion and Cost Savings
Vodafone plans to extend its UC with RingCentral services to new regions, including South America, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as additional EU and Asia-Pacific countries in the first half of next year. The move to cloud-based systems is expected to save customers up to 30% in operating costs by reducing administrative and IT expenses while enhancing productivity and collaboration. Marika Auramo, CEO of Vodafone Business, highlighted the benefits of this transition, noting the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of the new services, which are designed to elevate customer engagement and experience.
