Glovo Appoints Daphne Kabeberi as Head of Impact and Sustainability for Africa

Glovo has appointed Daphne Kabeberi as the Impact and Sustainability Lead for Africa, marking a strategic move to enhance its commitment to social and environmental responsibility across the continent.

In her new role, Daphne will spearhead Glovo’s sustainability agenda, ensuring that the company’s operations and initiatives contribute significantly to social welfare and environmental well-being in Africa. Her appointment underscores Glovo’s dedication to making a positive impact in the regions where it operates.

Sebastien Pellion, Glovo’s Global Head of Impact & Sustainability, expressed enthusiasm about Daphne joining the team, citing her extensive experience and strong commitment to community welfare. Before joining Glovo, Daphne held pivotal roles such as Program Lead and Partnership Manager at Tunapanda Institute, where she orchestrated training programs aimed at empowering digital workers from marginalized communities. Her tenure as Lead Sustainability Engineer at Endustrial Support also showcased her proficiency in implementing eco-friendly practices, including achieving notable reductions in carbon footprint and resource consumption at hospitality facilities.
