Kenyan identity management startup Peleza has announced its merger with US-based YC-backed company Prembly. Prembly specializes in compliance and digital security solutions across emerging markets.

The merger of Peleza and Prembly will form Prembly Group, creating the most robust data infrastructure and compliance solutions company serving emerging markets. Lanre Ogungbe, Founder and CEO of Prembly, will lead the new entity, with Marita Mutemi joining the leadership team as CFO. This strategic alliance aims to enhance global data infrastructure capabilities, delivering comprehensive, secure, and scalable digital solutions worldwide.

Operating under the unified brand of Prembly Group, the merger will leverage synergies to improve service delivery across finance, telecommunications, e-commerce, and more.
