Visa has officially opened applications for the 2025 edition of its Africa Fintech Accelerator, a program designed to empower businesses with cutting-edge resources, industry connections, and expert mentorship to bring innovative financial solutions to life.
Launched in 2023 as part of Visa’s commitment to invest $1 billion in financial inclusion in Africa by 2027, the accelerator program has already supported 64 startups across three cohorts, leading to 15 active partnerships. Building on its success, Visa recently announced new funding secured by four standout businesses from its inaugural cohort.
This year’s accelerator invites startups to participate in an intensive three-month program that offers:
- Access to Visa’s technology tools and platforms
- Funding opportunities to scale innovations
- Guidance and mentorship from industry leaders
