Liquid introduces Uganda’s first Azure Stack

Liquid Intelligent Technologies has officially introduced the first Microsoft Azure Stack in Uganda. This modern hybrid cloud solution integrates Microsoft Azure’s intelligence, security, and scalability with Liquid Intelligent Technologies’ managed infrastructure.

Enhanced Local Cloud Solutions

The launch of Azure Stack will enable Ugandan businesses to access cloud solutions that comply with local data regulatory requirements. This investment underscores Liquid’s commitment to advancing Uganda’s digital transformation and supports the Uganda Digital Transformation Roadmap, which aims to connect 90% of Ugandan households to the internet by 2040.

A Game-Changer for Local Businesses

Michael Mukasa, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, highlights that the Azure Stack hub will be transformative for local businesses. It will offer cost-effective access to cloud solutions, help meet data regulatory standards, and efficiently handle latency-sensitive business applications.

Expanding Azure Stack Deployment Across Africa

This deployment marks the fifth country in Africa where Liquid has introduced Microsoft Azure Stack. Mukasa notes that this expansion reflects Liquid’s expertise in partnering with businesses to drive digital transformation. The Azure Stack will benefit large enterprises and accelerate cloud adoption among Ugandan Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through adaptable adoption models.

Driving Technological Advancement

With the Azure Stack launch, Liquid continues to lead in bringing innovative technology to foster economic and technological growth in Uganda and the broader East Africa region.
